Associate Pastor - College
Colin has a passion for engaging young people with the Gospel. He joined the Central team in January of 2017 as a part-time college minister, and it quickly became obvious to him and to the church that God was calling him into full-time vocational ministry.
In July of 2017, he was ordained, and on September 1 of that year, he became the church’s full-time college pastor. Before being called to ministry, Colin worked for over a decade in higher education in the field of student affairs. He holds a bachelor’s degree in religious studies and psychology and a master’s degree in college student personnel services and administration from the University of Central Arkansas. He and his wife Marla have been married since June 2009. They have a four-year-old daughter, Harlow Jude.
The two youngest generations in America - the Millennial (age 20-35) and the Post-Millennial (ages 13-20) generations are not only the two largest generations, but they’re also the least likely to be meaningfully engaged in the church. Central wants to be the church where college students learn how to be the church. Our college ministry is a place where students will hear faithful gospel teaching, where they can be open about their struggles and find help navigating an ever-darkening world, and where they can enjoy true fellowship.
