A Living Stone

In this message, Bro. Don continues the identity series by showing that believers are living stones in God’s building, built on Jesus Christ, the living stone and chief cornerstone. He explains that in ancient construction the cornerstone was laid first and set the standard for every other stone, and that Jesus is the chosen, precious, and dependable foundation of our salvation and of the church. Bro. Don traces the story of God’s building through Noah’s ark, the tabernacle, and the temple, to Christ himself, who tabernacled among us and is now building both a home in heaven and a church on earth. He then turns to our part as living stones, calling us to edify one another by loving each other, using our spiritual gifts, setting a godly example, correcting one another in love, and praying for one another. He closes by reminding us that every stone has a place in the body of Christ.
