The Unpardonable Sin

In this message from the A Day in the Life of Christ series, Bro. Don tackles one of the most difficult passages in Scripture, the unpardonable sin, by first setting the scene of scribes and Pharisees confronting Jesus in Nazareth and refusing to accept that his miracles came from God. He walks through their dangerous decision to attribute the work of the Holy Spirit to Satan, and draws out the sobering warning Jesus gives in response. Bro. Don reassures believers that a truly saved person cannot commit the unpardonable sin, but he does not soften the warning for those whose lives are bent toward continual rejection of Christ. He closes with a sweeping declaration of God's grace, reminding us that no sin is too great for the blood of Jesus to cover, but that there is a point of no return for those who persistently reject the gospel and call the work of the Spirit the work of the devil.
