Lesson 1

In this opening message of the Facing Life's Giants series, Bro. Don draws from the story of David and Goliath to introduce six principles for facing the difficulties of life. He opens by reminding us that the prosperity gospel's promise of a problem free life is simply not biblical, and that Scripture calls us to face our giants rather than avoid them. He walks through six principles: giants are a matter of perspective and look different to each of us, giants always seem larger when we are not close to God, giants are intimidating and can steal our faith when we depend on anything other than the Lord, fear is contagious and can talk good people out of good things, giants never leave on their own and must be defeated, and finally, this could be your day 41, the day everything changes when you stop fearing and start believing that God is able.
