Lesson 3

Aug 26, 2026    Don Chandler

In this third message of the Facing Life's Giants series, Bro. Don picks up as David steps forward to fight while everyone around him either doubts or criticizes him. He walks through six more principles drawn from the passage. When you decide to fight, expect criticism, and remember it is often not the noise of the enemy but the silence of friends that hurts the most. Always find your confidence in past victories, because a history with God gives you faith for the future. Be yourself, because Saul's armor did not fit David and someone else's methods will not fit you either. Prepare for the battle by picking up your stones, trusting that God has been getting you ready longer than you realize. God is not limited by your resources, for David's shield bearer was the Lord of glory himself. And finally, no giant is too large when the child of God steps aside and lets the Lord of glory fight the battle.
