I Surrender All

Jun 10, 2026    Mike Lefler

In this Wednesday evening message, Bro. Mike takes the congregation to Romans 12:1-2 with a straightforward and convicting challenge: are we truly surrendering all to God, or are we just singing about it? Drawing from the call to present our bodies as living sacrifices, he unpacks what that means for our whole selves, not just our physical bodies, but our hearts, souls, minds, and wills. He reminds us that we are called to this surrender because of the mercies of God, walking through the first eleven chapters of Romans to show just how overwhelming those mercies truly are. Bro. Mike also reframes what worship really is, challenging the idea that worship is only the singing portion of a service, and calling us instead to make worship a way of life. He shares that true worship enlarges our vision, enhances our service, and eclipses our fears. The message closes with a look at Romans 12:2 and the warning not to be conformed to this world, reminding us that our love for the world is often what keeps us from experiencing full surrender and freedom in our walk with God.
