Relationship Without Fellowship

In this opening message of the new series A Day in the Life of Christ, Bro. Don takes us to the only recorded glimpse of Jesus between infancy and age thirty, when Mary and Joseph lost him in Jerusalem after Passover. He traces the familiar but convicting story of how they traveled an entire day assuming Jesus was somewhere in the caravan, only to discover he was not with them at all. Bro. Don draws a direct parallel to our own spiritual lives, reminding us that many of us have a genuine relationship with Christ but have slowly drifted from true fellowship with him through busyness, circumstances, and the messiness of life. Just as Mary and Joseph could only find Jesus by retracing their steps back to the temple, he challenges us that we will only find him where we left him, at the foot of the cross, and calls us to return to our first love before another day is lost.
