Bro. Don closed the “The Church, A Divine Design” series by reminding the church that its origin, authority, power, and purpose all come from God alone. Preaching from 1 Corinthians 1:1-10, he emphasized that the church is a called out body of believers sanctified by Christ, empowered by the Holy Spirit, enriched through God’s grace, and gifted to serve faithfully while waiting for Christ’s return. He challenged believers to use their spiritual gifts with humility, live with anticipation of the Lord’s coming, and remember that while Christians are forgiven, they are also accountable for how they live and serve. The message concluded with a strong appeal for unity within the church, warning against gossip, division, and selfishness, and calling the body of Christ to prayer, reconciliation, and faithful cooperation so the church can fulfill its mission in the world.
