Lesson 6
Apr 29, 2026 • Don Chandler
Bro. Don used the account of Cornelius and Peter in Acts 10 to show that the church must submit to God’s design rather than cling to personal comfort, prejudice, or tradition. He highlighted Cornelius as a sincere seeker whom God was drawing, Peter as a reluctant servant learning obedience, and the gospel as a message intended for every person without partiality. Through Peter’s vision and eventual submission, the church was reminded that ministry authority belongs to God alone, that His plans often move beyond familiar patterns, and that true blessing comes when believers obey His command to carry the gospel to all people with humility and urgency.
