Lesson 1

In this opening message of a new series on the church, Bro. Don teaches from 1 Peter 2:9–10 to reveal God’s divine design for His people. He explains that the church is not merely a place or organization, but a called out assembly chosen by God, set apart for His purposes, and transformed by His mercy. Believers are a royal priesthood with direct access to God, called to live holy and distinct lives while proclaiming the gospel to the world. Once lost and without identity, we have now been made God’s people through the sacrifice of Christ. This identity carries both great privilege and responsibility, as the church exists to glorify God and declare His goodness to others.
